Dr. John Oueis’ and his team of knowledgeable associates each have experience in the various aspects of cosmetic and family dentistry. Both our offices are full-service practices providing general and orthodontic treatment. We are also very pleased to offer a full-range of surgical services and treatments, including dental implants, at our Carling location.

Our Professionals
Dr. John Oueis
Dr. John Oueis is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. He has been in practice in Ottawa since 2001. For him, digital technology has brought dentistry into the 21st Century—he is an avid user of 3D technology, including the CEREC system and oral 3D Cone Beam scans (computed tomography).
The CEREC computerized system fabricates crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays without having to take impressions—and since it is all done in a single appointment, no temporary restoration is required.
Dr. Oueis has done hundreds of dental implant restorations, single-tooth and multiple-teeth crown procedures, after the surgical implant phase is completed.
For him, a patient’s satisfaction is upper-most in his philosophy of work.
Dr. Oueis is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ottawa Dental Society and the Canadian Dental Association.
With 6 kids, there are very few things that will take Dr. Oueis by surprise!

Dr. Duc Vo
Dr. Le Hong Duc Vo graduated from the University of Montreal in 2001. He worked in the Montreal area before moving to Ottawa in 2005. One of his priorities is to continue learning about new products and techniques to ensure that patients are provided with what is best in dentistry today.
Dr. Vo has an insatiable passion for dentistry, especially surgical techniques. He has challenged himself to learn intensive, technique specific procedures to augment bone horizontally and vertically. Combined with using scientifically documented and researched implants from DENTSPLY Implants, sinus lifts and gum grafting, he can provide exceptional treatment options for patients that were given few options.
Dr Vo continues to travel frequently to study under the leaders in dentistry. In 2015, Dr. Vo is completing the 2 year Master’s degree of Oral Implantology from the esteemed Frankfurt University. He is starting to incorporate guided surgery, planning challenging cases from a prosthetic end, so that the treatment will have reduced complications and reduced chair time for the patient.

Dr. Nohé Sassi
Dr. Sassi completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Laval University in 2013 and took some extra training to perform IV sedation at University of Toronto. Dr. Sassi’s passion is to provide dental care to those who do not have access to it. He has traveled to various locations to do humanitarian work, treating over 700 patients in Central America and Northern Canada. When not at work, Dr. Sassi enjoys playing, arranging, and recording music, Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. Dr. Sassi speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Dr. Samuel Tremblay
Dr. Samuel Tremblay is a D.M.D. graduate of Université Laval (Quebec City). Born and raised in Cornwall (Ontario), he always wanted to come back in the region to practice. He also completed a year of science and mathematic courses at Université de Montréal, where he finished in the honour roll. During his dental program, he enjoyed helping those who couldn’t afford dental treatments and giving them a chance to smile again. He finds great pleasure in cosmetic dentistry and endodontics. During his studies, he enjoyed playing ice hockey where he was nominated captain of his dental faculty team.
In his free time, Dr. Tremblay loves woodworking, reading and enjoys playing various sports.
Dr. Tremblay is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and the Ottawa Dental Society.
Dr. Ahmed Rizk
With more than 15 years extensive practice in the field of orthodontics Dr. Ahmed Rizk has considerable experience in the various orthodontic treatment techniques and is well-versed in the latest modalities in the field. He regularly attends international conferences and lectures.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry and Oral Medicine from the University of Alexandria (1999), and his Master’s degree in Orthodontics from the same university (2002-2005).
In 2010 Dr. Rizk became a member of The Royal College in Edinburgh in Orthodontics. He obtained his Doctorate in Orthodontics from The University of Hong Kong and later completed a postgraduate program at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Rizk is a member of The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and of l’Ordre des Dentistes du Québec. He is also a member of several orthodontic societies around the world where he has practiced.
He loves spending time with his family, reading, and sports, such as squash, swimming, skating, skiing.
Dr. Thien Nguyen
Dr. Thien-Phuoc Nguyen was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto.
In his spare time, he loves playing piano, reading, spending time with friends and family, and playing sports, such as table tennis and weightlifting.
Dr. Nguyen frequently attends extra dental courses to further his knowledge as he is committed to providing excellent dental care for his patients.
