Dr. Carolyne Thain is a graduate from l’Universite de Montreal. Dr. Thain completed her orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University in Florida. She is a Board Certified Orthodontist, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, a member of the Ontario Dental Association, of the Ottawa Dental Society and of the Canadian Dental Association.
After studying biomedical sciences at the University of Ottawa, Dr. Carolyne Thain transferred to the University of Montreal to study in its five-year dentistry program. She graduated as a dentist in 2010, finishing first in her class and winning the top academic award.
After successfully completing the National Dental Specialty Examination of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Dr. Thain decided to return to Canada and start her practice in her hometown of Embrun. She is a Board Certified Orthodontist and Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Carolyne Thain is a member of the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
Dr. Thain aims to provide excellent orthodontic care in a professional and attentive manner. She is fluent in both French and English. She treats children, adolescents and adults. Her expertise includes metal braces, ceramic braces, Invisalign as well as Incognito (lingual) braces.
